Inverse: Update

Our first workshop session took place on Saturday: six of us spent a sunny morning in Dublin City Centre, writing.  A dedicated and surprising session of brainstorming, creative writing exercises, and conversation about how and why we write.  Thanks to all who came.  You were a fantastic group.  I only hope the rest of the sessions are as fruitful.

Next week we'll be talking plot.  There'll be more free-writing exercises, more activities, and we're very excited to have novelist and GCN Editor, Brian Finnegan, in to talk to the group.  There are still spaces left if anyone would like to join this Saturday, the 11th May: we've got five more weeks of creative workshops, theatre trips and tours, free to any LGBT young people, aged 16-19, who'd like to take part.  We'll also have talks over the coming weeks by a fantastic line-up of acclaimed LGBT writers, including Una Mullally, Sonya Kelly and Denis Kehoe.

Readers, writers, beginners, students, poets, dramatists.  If you're interested, get in touch, sign up, and be part of this unique creative opportunity.  Every Saturday til the 8th June.
